h1. Tresć email-a z oczekiwaniami

Dear Lilya,

We are ready to start now, it seems. I enclose a couple of files to this e-mail:

* a PDF manual for installing and using Desklight (download links inside)

* base configuration file (base-2.8.0.zip) that you need to import into Desklight after configuring it for „internal database”

* a configuration files for the journal (cejsh VNL.zip) which after importing it will add publisher>journals>to the database.

The process of adding years, volumes, numbers, articles is described in the manual. If you want to me to send the structure of years>volumes>issues, please let me know!

We need the following data:

- authors, their affiliation (if you decide to provide it)

- original title

- English title

- keywords in English

- English abstract (we welcome abstracts in other languages too)

- pages

- full text PDFs added as files (from the computer hard drive) in the „contents” section of the article description window

The data updates are realized through exporting the data to a file and sending it via e-mail (preferably to cejsh@pan.pl). If the file is too big for e-mail, please use wetransfer.com or something similar.

Please bear in mind the the main title should be supplied in the original language/alphabet, with translation following in a separate field.

If you follow the manual, you should not run into problems, but in case of any questions, please feel free to contact me.

I regret to inform, that:

 1. Unfortunately our website was hacked. We put a lot of efforts to make it work as soon as possible but some pages are not fully reconstructed yet. 

 2. Our IT-specialists tested the files you sent. Such programme cannot be installed in our network. It will not work. Is it possible to send us an xml-example and they will create it.

h1. Kolejna informacja

Myślę, że jeśli będziemy mieli xml zrobiony według takiego sampla, będziemy mogli sobie zasymulować lokalne OAI, które wystawi naszym importerom przysłaną zawartość. Nie będzie wtedy resumptionTokenów - a ogólnie uniknie się jakichkolwiek prac przy importerach.

Co sądzicie?

Wziąłem fragment z UMCS, ale pewnie można by było go jeszcze odchudzić i wskazać pola konieczne, ale to by wymagało chyba trochę eksperymentów, żeby stwierdzić bez których importer sobie radzi lepiej a bez których gorzej.

Warto przy tym nadmienić, że zawartość pola  <references> jest wzięta w takiej formie w jakiej je przechowuje OJS2 (innej niż już w OJS3) - to rozwiązanie nie jest uniwersalnie stosowane i może sprawić jakiś kłopot informatykom.

Zdaje się, że czekać na dalszą korespondencję

Wnioski z zebrania chyba były takie (załączone są osoby, które mogą oprotestować tę opinię ;) ), że jeszcze podejmiemy dialog techniczny ze stroną ukraińską (chyba wchodziłaby w grę np. specjalna wersja jeśli potrzebna im modyfikacja byłaby drobna - itp), a w każdym razie ICM jest zżerany przez ciekawość, o co tu może chodzić z tym nie-instalowaniem. ;) Osoba najlepsza do tych technicznych rozmów jest obecnie na urlopie.

Na drugą rundę pójdzie kwestia sampla. Na przykład format bwmeta byłby dla nas wygodniejszy, ale jest dużo gorzej opisany niż NLM (https://jats.nlm.nih.gov/archiving/). Być może jednak bardziej się będzie opłacać z bwmetą, jeszcze zobaczymy, ten temat pobieżnie poruszyliśmy w dyskusji.
